Ingredients
• 1 (9.25 oz) bag Nacho Cheese Doritos (classic flavor holds best)
• 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
• 6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked & crumbled
• ¼ cup shredded sharp cheddar (optional, for extra cheesiness)
• 1 tbsp chopped chives or green onion
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• Pinch of smoked paprika
• Optional: dash of hot sauce or diced jalapeños for kick
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crumbled bacon, cheddar (if using), chives, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and optional hot sauce/jalapeños until smooth and fluffy.
- Lay Doritos flat, single layer, on sheet—choose large, intact chips.
- Spoon ~1 tsp filling onto center of each chip. Gently press a second Dorito on top to make a chipwich—don’t overstuff!
- Bake 8–10 mins—just until filling is warm and slightly puffed (chips stay crisp).
- Cool 2–3 mins (filling firms slightly), then serve immediately. Best hot—these wait for no one!
