Ingredients
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
4 cups whole kernel corn (2 cans, 15.25 oz each)
1 cup half and half or whole milk
1 ½ tablespoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Melt butter in a medium skillet.
Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, 4 to 5 minutes. Stir often.
Add corn and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
In a glass measuring cup, whisk cornstarch with half and half.
Add to corn and stir in well. Cook until the mixture thickens.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve.
