Ingredients

For the Chicken Tenders:

1½ lbs chicken tenders

1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup cornstarch

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

Oil for frying

For the Whipped Hot Honey Butter:

¼ cup softened butter

3 tbsp honey

½ tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp smoked paprika

Pinch of black pepper

Pinch of salt


Instructions

Soak chicken tenders in buttermilk for 30 minutes to tenderize.

In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Remove tenders from buttermilk, dredge in flour mixture, pressing lightly to coat.

Fry in batches until golden and crispy, about 4–5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

For the hot honey butter, whip butter until fluffy, then mix in honey, chili flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper until creamy.

Drizzle or spread whipped hot honey butter over warm tenders before serving.
