Ingredients
1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled, cooked, and finely chopped
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 green onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning)
Salt and pepper to taste
1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for frying)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp, breadcrumbs, mayo, mustard, green onion, garlic, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Shape mixture into 6–8 patties.
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook shrimp cakes for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
Serve warm with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, or a fresh salad on the side.
