Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sloppy Joes: A Low-Carb, Flavor-Packed Twist

Ingredients

🥩 1 lb ground beef (or plant-based alternative)
🧅 1 small onion, diced
🍅 1 cup ketchup
🍯 2 tbsp brown sugar
🫒 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
🌶️ 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
🥤 1/2 cup Dr. Pepper (or another cola)
🌾 1 tsp garlic powder
🧂 Salt & pepper to taste
🍞 Buns for serving

Instructions

Cook beef & onion in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic, salt, pepper, and Dr. Pepper.
Simmer 10–15 mins until thickened. Spoon onto buns and serve.
