Ingredients

• 6 small tortillas or English muffin halves (whole wheat or gluten-free)
• 1/2 cup sugar-free marinara or pizza sauce
• 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or dairy-free cheese)
• Toppings for “faces”:
• Black olives (for eyes, mouths, spider legs)
• Sliced cherry tomatoes or pepperoni (for cheeks or lips)
• Green bell pepper or basil (for monster hair)
• Pickle slices (for zombie teeth)
• Optional: small mozzarella balls (for eyeballs)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place tortillas or muffin halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread 1–2 tbsp pizza sauce over each base.
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Get creative! Use toppings to make funny or scary faces:
    Spiders: 2 olive eyes + 8 thin olive legs
    Pumpkins: triangle eyes, nose, and grin from olives
    Monsters: green pepper hair, tomato cheeks, big olive mouth
    Zombies: pickle teeth, messy sauce “blood” drizzle
  6. Bake 8–10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
  7. Let cool 2 minutes, then serve with a side of marinara for dipping!
