Ingredients
• 1 (12-inch) French baguette or ciabatta loaf
• ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
• 4 garlic cloves, finely minced or pressed
• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
• ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for kick)
• ¼ cup grated Parmesan (plus extra for topping)
• Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes (if using), Parmesan, and salt until smooth.
- Slice baguette in half lengthwise. Spread garlic butter evenly over cut sides—press into every nook!
- Place on a baking sheet, butter-side up. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan.
- Bake 10–12 min until edges are golden and crisp, center is warm and toasty.
