Juicy steak bites drenched in garlic butter over velvety mashed potatoes!
Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs potatoes, peeled and chopped
4 tbsp butter
½ cup milk (or cream)
Salt to taste
Instructions
Make Mashed Potatoes: Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (15–20 mins). Drain, mash with butter and milk until smooth. Set aside.
Sear Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
Add steak to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the skillet, stir until fragrant (30 sec).
Return steak to skillet and toss in the garlic butter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serve hot steak bites over creamy mashed potatoes.
