Garlic Parmesan Chicken Meatloaves: A Flavor-Packed Twist on Classic Comfort Food

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground chicken 🍗
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 🍞
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
– 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
– 1/4 cup milk 🥛
– 1 large egg 🥚
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped 🌿
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 🌿
– 1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 🌶️
– 1/4 cup marinara sauce 🍅
– 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 🧀

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, milk, egg, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until everything is evenly blended.
3. Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape each portion into a small loaf. Arrange the loaves on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Spoon a tablespoon of marinara sauce over each meatloaf, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the meatloaves reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Remove from the oven and let the meatloaves rest for 5 minutes before serving.
