Garlic Shrimp Pasta: A Quick & Flavor-Packed Seafood Favorite

Ingredients

• 1 lb linguine or spaghetti • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined • 6 cloves garlic, minced • ½ cup butter • ¼ cup olive oil • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped • 1 tsp red pepper flakes • ½ tsp salt • ¼ tsp black pepper • ¼ cup white wine (optional) • 1 lemon, juiced • Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions
  2. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining
  3. Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in large skillet
  4. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink
  5. Remove shrimp and set aside
  6. Add remaining butter to skillet
  7. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook 1 minute
  8. Add white wine if using, cook until reduced
  9. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat
  10. Add reserved pasta water as needed
  11. Return shrimp to skillet
  12. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper
  13. Toss with fresh herbs
  14. Serve with Parmesan cheese
