Ingredients
• 1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough (thawed)
• ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
• Optional toppings: pepperoni slices, black olives, green peppers
For the skull faces:
• Black olives (for eyes and mouth)
• Small pepperoni or round veggies (optional, for detail)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface. Use a knife or small cutter to cut into 4-inch circles (use a bowl as a guide).
- Place circles on the baking sheet. Spread each with 1 tsp sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella (leave space for facial features).
- Create the skull face:
→ Cut 2 small slits or use olive halves for eye sockets
→ Cut a small triangle or use an olive slice for the nose
→ Cut a curved line or use a long olive piece for the smile - Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly. Use extra olive pieces or pepperoni to enhance the skull details if desired.
