A cozy, one-dish meal packed with beef, potatoes, and cheesy layers!


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

3 cups thinly sliced potatoes (about 3 medium)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

½ cup milk

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or parsley for extra flavor


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion. Drain excess fat.

In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk.

Layer half of the potatoes in the baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optional spices.

Add the cooked beef mixture, then pour half the soup mixture over it.

Add remaining potatoes, top with the rest of the soup, then sprinkle cheddar cheese over everything.

Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until golden and bubbly.
