Ingredients
For the Chicken:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (about 1 lb)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Optional: ¼ tsp cayenne pepper for heat
For the Coating:
¼ cup almond flour
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra crispiness)
1 tbsp crushed pork rinds or coconut flour (for crunch)
1 egg or egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water) for dipping
For Serving (Optional):
Sugar-free BBQ sauce
Keto ranch or avocado dip
Lemon wedges
Chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) .
In a bowl, season chicken with garlic powder , paprika , onion powder , salt , and pepper . Let sit for 5–10 minutes to marinate.
In another bowl, mix almond flour , Parmesan , and crushed pork rinds for a crispy coating.
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg wash , then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture. Press gently to help it adhere.
Place chicken in the air fryer basket , making sure not to overcrowd.
Cook for 10–12 minutes , flipping halfway through, until golden, crispy, and fully cooked through.
Optional: Sprinkle with fresh herbs or drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
Serve warm with your favorite keto dips or alongside roasted veggies for a complete meal.
