Crispy rolled tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef — a low-carb, high-protein twist on traditional flautas that’s perfect for snacks, lunches, or dinner!
Ingredients
10 low-carb or almond flour tortillas
1 lb ground beef
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cumin
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
Oil for frying (optional, for extra crispiness)
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Cook for 2–3 minutes more.
Place a spoonful of the seasoned beef in the center of each tortilla.
Roll each tortilla tightly into a cylinder shape.
For extra crispiness: Heat oil in a skillet and fry each flauta for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
OR Lightly brush with oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
Serve warm with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or your favorite keto-friendly toppings.
