Ingredients
Scale
For the bread:
- 1 (16 oz) tube refrigerated pizza dough (e.g., Pillsbury)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for greasing)
For the garlic-Parmesan topping:
- 4 tbsp (½ stick / 55g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Optional: pinch of salt, red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or butter.
- Shape breadsticks: Unroll pizza dough onto a floured surface. Cut into 8 equal strips (about 1″ wide). Roll each into a rope (~8–10″ long). Place on baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
- Bake: 10–12 minutes, until golden and puffed.
- Make topping: While bread bakes, mix melted butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, and optional seasonings.
- Coat: Immediately after removing from oven, brush breadsticks generously with garlic butter mixture.
- Serve warm—best fresh out of the oven!
💡 Pro Tips:
– For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of mozzarella before baking.
– Make it homemade: Use your favorite pizza dough recipe instead of store-bought.
– Serve with marinara sauce for dipping!
