Ingredients
• 2 cups long grain rice, cooked • 1 lb ground beef • 1 lb ground pork • 1 onion, diced • 1 green bell pepper, diced • 3 celery stalks, diced • 4 cloves garlic, minced • 2 tbsp vegetable oil • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning • 1 tsp paprika • ½ tsp cayenne pepper • 2 tbsp soy sauce • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce • 3 green onions, chopped • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
- Brown ground beef and pork, drain excess fat
- Add onion, bell pepper, and celery
- Cook 5 minutes until vegetables soften
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, and cayenne
- Add soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce
- Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly
- Add cooked rice to meat mixture
- Toss everything together well
- Cook 5 minutes until heated through
- Stir in green onions and parsley
- Adjust seasoning if needed
- Serve hot
