  • Author: WAFA LI

Ingredients

• 1 lb (450g) ground beef
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 small onion, diced
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
• ¾ cup homemade or canned mac and cheese sauce (or mix ¼ cup milk + 2 tbsp butter + 1 cup shredded cheddar)
• 4 large flour tortillas (or pretzel wraps)
• Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, diced tomatoes, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Sauté onion 4–5 minutes until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in cooked macaroni and mac and cheese sauce. Warm through.
  3. Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Divide the mac ‘n’ cheese burger mixture evenly among tortillas.
  5. Add optional toppings like pickles or lettuce if desired.
  6. Roll up tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  7. Optional: Grill seam-side down in a pan for 1–2 minutes to seal and crisp.

Serve immediately—this oozy, cheesy wrap is best enjoyed warm and melty!

💡 Make it fun: Cut in half diagonally to show off the layers—perfect for lunchboxes or game day!
