Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil (for searing)
2 tbsp butter
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup sugar-free marinara sauce or sun-dried tomato sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
1 cup cheese tortellini (keto-friendly or store-bought low-carb version)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
FOR KETO VERSION:
Use dairy-based tortellini or make your own keto pasta. Replace heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream if desired for a dairy-free option.
Instructions
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add butter , garlic powder , basil , oregano , and red pepper flakes . Stir for 1–2 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Add heavy cream and marinara sauce . Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened slightly.
Toss in cooked tortellini and stir to coat everything in the creamy tomato sauce.
Slice chicken into strips and return to the pan. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm for a luxurious, restaurant-style keto comfort dish!
