Cheesy, melty, and packed with saucy meatballs for a crave-worthy twist!
Ingredients
8 slices of bread (Italian or sourdough works great)
12 cooked meatballs (store-bought or homemade), sliced in half
1 cup marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 tbsp butter, softened
Optional: fresh basil or Italian seasoning
Instructions
Heat marinara sauce and meatballs together until warm.
Butter one side of each bread slice.
On the unbuttered side, layer mozzarella, sliced meatballs, a spoonful of sauce, and Parmesan. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side out.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping!
