Ingredients
• 1 lb ground beef • 8 oz noodles (lo mein or udon) • 3 tbsp soy sauce • 2 tbsp brown sugar • 1 tbsp rice vinegar • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced • 2 green onions, sliced • 1 tbsp cornstarch • 2 tbsp water • 2 tbsp vegetable oil • Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions, drain
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet or wok
- Brown ground beef, drain excess fat
- Add garlic and ginger, cook 1 minute
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar
- Pour sauce over beef, stir to combine
- Cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens
- Mix cornstarch with water
- Add cornstarch mixture to beef
- Cook until sauce becomes glossy
- Add cooked noodles to beef mixture
- Toss everything together
- Heat remaining oil in pan
- Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds
