Description
A savory, sweet, and slightly spicy dish with tender beef and noodles in a flavorful sauce!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz noodles (spaghetti, lo mein, or ramen)
2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, grated
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup
1 tsp rice vinegar
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
2 green onions, chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Cook noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add cooked noodles and toss to coat with the sauce.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
