Ingredients
• 1 lb ground beef • 1 onion, diced • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 jar (24oz) pizza sauce • 1 cup pepperoni slices • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated • 1 tsp oregano • ½ tsp basil • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade) • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- Heat olive oil in large skillet
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic
- Drain excess fat
- Add pizza sauce, oregano, and basil
- Simmer 10 minutes
- Roll out pie crust in 9-inch pie pan
- Prick bottom with fork
- Spread beef mixture in crust
- Top with mushrooms and pepperoni
- Sprinkle with both cheeses
- Brush edges with beaten egg
- Bake 25-30 minutes until crust is golden
- Let cool 10 minutes before serving
