Description
Tender shredded chicken in creamy ranch gravy with fresh herbs
Ingredients
• 2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
• 1 cup sour cream
• ½ cup chicken broth
• 2 tbsp ranch seasoning
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp flour
• Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Place chicken in slow cooker
Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours
Shred chicken with two forks
Melt butter in saucepan
Whisk in flour to make roux
Gradually add chicken broth
Stir in sour cream and ranch seasoning
Simmer until thickened
Combine chicken and gravy
Garnish with fresh parsley
Serve hot
