Rotisserie Chicken and Stuffing Casserole: A Cozy, Family-Favorite Classic

Ingredients

• 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded • 4 cups stuffing cubes • 2 cups chicken broth • 1 cup sour cream • 1 cup cream of chicken soup • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded • ½ cup butter, melted • 1 onion, diced • 2 celery stalks, diced • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped • 1 tsp thyme • ½ tsp sage • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Grease 9×13 inch baking dish
  3. Sauté onion, celery, and garlic in butter
  4. Add herbs and cook 2 minutes
  5. Mix in stuffing cubes and chicken broth
  6. Let stand 5 minutes until stuffing absorbs liquid
  7. Stir in sour cream and cream of chicken soup
  8. Add chicken and half the cheese
  9. Transfer to baking dish
  10. Top with remaining cheese
  11. Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley
  13. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
