Ingredients
INGREDIENTS: 1 pound sausage (450g)
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (2 x 227g)
1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese (150g)
Egg wash, optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Brown and crumble sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain and cool.
3. Mix cooked sausage and cheese in a bowl.
4. Open crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on a baking sheet, with points facing out.
5. Spoon sausage/cheese mixture in the center. Fold dough over filling, tucking under.
6. Brush with egg wash if desired.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
