Seafood Lasagna: A Decadent, Creamy Coastal Twist on a Classic Favorite

Ingredients

🍝 12 lasagna noodles
🍤 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
🐚 1 pound scallops
🦀 1/2 pound crab meat
🧀 2 cups ricotta cheese
🧀 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
🧀 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
🥛 4 cups Alfredo sauce
🧅 1 onion, finely chopped
🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced
🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
🌿 1 teaspoon dried basil
🌿 1 teaspoon dried oregano
🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
🌿 Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain them and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they become translucent.
3. Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet, cooking until just done. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.
4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, 1/2 cup of Parmesan, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
5. Spread 1 cup of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer with 3 lasagna noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the seafood mixture, and 1 cup of Alfredo sauce. Repeat the layering.
6. Top the final layer with the remaining noodles, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the lasagna is bubbly and golden on top.
8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
