- 1½ lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1 (1 oz) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
Optional add-ins (not counted in the 3!):
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- Green onions or hot sauce for serving
Instructions
- Prep: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a 4–6 quart slow cooker.
- Add cream cheese and ranch seasoning on top—no stirring needed!
- Cook:
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
Until chicken shreds easily with a fork.
- Shred & mix: Use two forks to shred chicken directly in the pot. Stir well to combine with the creamy ranch sauce.
- Optional finish: Stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Top with bacon and green onions.
