(Serves 4–6)
  • lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1 (1 oz) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
Optional add-ins (not counted in the 3!):
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Green onions or hot sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a 4–6 quart slow cooker.
  2. Add cream cheese and ranch seasoning on top—no stirring needed!
  3. Cook:
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Until chicken shreds easily with a fork.
  4. Shred & mix: Use two forks to shred chicken directly in the pot. Stir well to combine with the creamy ranch sauce.
  5. Optional finish: Stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Top with bacon and green onions.
