1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes 

1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes 

3 cups chicken or vegetable broth 



1 small onion, diced 

2 cloves garlic, minced 

1 tsp Italian seasoning 

Salt & pepper to taste 

1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini 

1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half 

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 

Optional: fresh basil for garnish 

Instructions
Add tomatoes, broth, onion, garlic & seasonings to slow cooker 

Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours 

Stir in tortellini, cream, and Parmesan during last 30 mins 

Cook until tortellini is tender 

Garnish with basil and serve hot
