Smothered Chicken and Rice: A Southern-Style Comfort Classic

Ingredients

🍗 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
🫒 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides.
3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add your choice of vegetables and sauté until tender.
5. Return the chicken to the skillet, add broth or water, and cover.
6. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
7. Serve over cooked rice and enjoy!
