Ingredients
1½ lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated fresh ginger (or ½ tsp ground)
½ tsp chili flakes (optional for a kick)
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
Add chicken to a skillet or pan over medium heat and cook until browned on both sides.
Pour sauce over chicken, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes until cooked through.
Mix cornstarch and water, stir into the sauce, and simmer until thickened and sticky.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve with rice or noodles!
