White Trash Sliders: The Ultimate Cheesy, Meaty, Irresistible Party Sandwiches

  • Author: WAFA LI

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
• 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (or keto-friendly mini buns)
• 6 slices American or cheddar cheese, halved
• 6 slices bacon, cooked & halved
• 2 tbsp butter, melted
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp honey (or sugar-free syrup for keto)
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• Optional: dill pickle chips, sliced red onion, or ranch drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, gently mix beef with salt and pepper. Form 12 small oval patties (slightly smaller than rolls—they’ll shrink).
  3. Heat a skillet over medium. Cook patties 3–4 mins per side to medium (they’ll finish in oven). Drain on paper towels.
  4. Slice rolls horizontally (keep them connected if using a pull-apart pack). Place bottom halves on baking sheet.
  5. Layer: beef patty → ½ slice cheese → ½ slice bacon → pickle/onion (if using) → top roll half.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Dijon, honey, and Worcestershire. Brush generously over tops of rolls.
  7. Bake 10–12 mins—until cheese is melted and rolls are golden. Serve warm and napkin-ready!
