Ingredients
• 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso • 1 cup milk • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree • 2 tbsp brown sugar • 1 tbsp maple syrup • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice • ¼ tsp vanilla extract • 2 tbsp heavy cream • Whipped cream for topping • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice for garnish
Instructions
- Brew strong coffee or prepare espresso
- Heat milk in small saucepan until steaming
- Whisk in pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and maple syrup
- Add pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract
- Simmer 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly
- Froth milk mixture with handheld frother
- Pour coffee into mug
- Add pumpkin milk mixture and stir
- Top with whipped cream
- Drizzle with heavy cream if desired
- Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice
- Serve immediately while warm
