Ingredients

• 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso • 1 cup milk • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree • 2 tbsp brown sugar • 1 tbsp maple syrup • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice • ¼ tsp vanilla extract • 2 tbsp heavy cream • Whipped cream for topping • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice for garnish


Instructions

  1. Brew strong coffee or prepare espresso
  2. Heat milk in small saucepan until steaming
  3. Whisk in pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and maple syrup
  4. Add pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract
  5. Simmer 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly
  6. Froth milk mixture with handheld frother
  7. Pour coffee into mug
  8. Add pumpkin milk mixture and stir
  9. Top with whipped cream
  10. Drizzle with heavy cream if desired
  11. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice
  12. Serve immediately while warm
