Ingredients

• 1 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
• ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat, dairy, or soy milk)
• 2 tbsp pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
• 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
• ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg


Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine almond milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla.
  2. Whisk well and warm gently for 3–4 minutes until steaming (do not boil).
  3. Use a whisk or milk frother to blend until smooth and slightly frothy.
  4. Pour brewed coffee into a mug.
  5. Slowly pour the warm pumpkin-milk mixture over the coffee. Stir gently to swirl.
  6. Dust with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and aromatic!
