- 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen 🍓
- 1 ripe banana 🍌
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice) 🥛
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess) 🥣
- 1/4 cup rolled oats 🌾
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (linseed) 🌿
- 1 tbsp brewer’s yeast (or nutritional yeast) 🧪
- 1 tbsp almond butter (or peanut butter) 🥜
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 🍯
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional) 🍂
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste) 🍯
- 4–6 ice cubes 🧊
Instructions
- If you prefer a smoother texture, soak the rolled oats in the almond milk for 5 minutes before blending.
- Add strawberries, banana, almond milk (and soaked oats if applicable) to a high-speed blender.
- Add Greek yogurt, ground flaxseed, brewer’s yeast, almond butter, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
- Add honey or maple syrup if you like it sweeter, then add the ice cubes.
- Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, about 30–60 seconds depending on your blender.
- Taste and adjust: add a splash more milk to thin, or a bit more sweetener if needed.
- Pour into two glasses and enjoy immediately for best texture and freshness.
