Ingredients
1 dash canola oil
5 slices bacon
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 pinch freshly cracked black pepper
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 dash yellow mustard
1 whole onion, diced small
1/2 cup Bisquick powdered mix
2 whole eggs
1 cup milk
4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Heat canola oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Crisp bacon for 3-4 minutes on each side, then drain on paper towels and crumble.
2. In the same pan, brown ground beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Add onion and soften for a minute. Remove from heat to cool.
3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray. Whisk Bisquick, eggs, and milk until smooth.
4. Spoon cooled beef mixture into the pie pan, pressing down evenly. Layer crumbled bacon and shredded cheese on top. Pour Bisquick mixture over everything.
5. Bake for 25 minutes until puffy and golden. Cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve!
