Ingredients
INGREDIENTS: 2 large chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
8 oz linguine pasta
½ cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
2. Cook chicken in butter over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente, then drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, sauté garlic, parsley, and thyme for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
6. Slice chicken, toss linguine in sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
7. Fold in chicken, plate, and garnish with Parmesan and herbs.
