Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine: A Flavorful Fusion of Comfort and Adventure

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:
🍗 2 large chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
🍝 8 oz linguine pasta
🧈 ½ cup unsalted butter
🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced
🌿 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
🌱 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
🌶️ 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
🧅 1 teaspoon onion powder
🌶️ ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste
🍗 1 cup chicken broth
🍋 1 tablespoon lemon juice
🧀 Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
2. Cook chicken in butter over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente, then drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, sauté garlic, parsley, and thyme for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
6. Slice chicken, toss linguine in sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
7. Fold in chicken, plate, and garnish with Parmesan and herbs.
