Ingredients

• 8 oz cream cheese, softened (or dairy-free alternative)
• 4 oz goat cheese or blue cheese (optional, for tang)
• ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar (optional, for color & flavor)
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• ½ cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
• ½ cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped
• Optional: 1 green onion, minced (for freshness)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Mix in goat cheese or cheddar (if using), honey, garlic powder, and black pepper. Fold in green onion if desired.
  3. Shape mixture into a ball or log.
  4. On a plate, combine chopped cranberries and pecans.
  5. Roll the cheese ball in the cranberry-pecan mixture until fully coated. Press gently to adhere.
  6. Wrap in plastic and chill at least 1 hour to firm up.
  7. Serve with:
    → Crackers, pita chips, or apple slices
    → Crostini or baguette rounds
    → Drizzle with extra honey before serving for shine
