Ingredients

πŸ₯œΒ Crust:
– 1 cup almond flour
– 1/8 tsp salt
– 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp onion powder
– 1/4 tsp garlic powder
– 1 egg
– 1/4 cup sour cream
– 2 Tbsp butter, melted
– 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 medium onion, diced
– 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp pepper
– 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
– 2 eggs, beaten
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and grease a 9β€³ pie plate.
2. Make the crust: In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, salt, baking powder, onion powder, and garlic powder. In a separate bowl, mix egg, sour cream, and melted butter. Stir wet ingredients into dry, then fold in cheese.
3. Spread crust mixture into prepared pie plate evenly.
4. In a heavy-bottomed skillet, brown ground beef with onions. Once cooked through, add Worcestershire sauce, xanthan gum, salt, and pepper. Pour into crust and spread evenly.
5. Top with sliced tomatoes.
6. Mix beaten eggs with shredded cheese and spread this mixture on top of the tomatoes.
7. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing for best results.
