Instructions

1. Make dough:

  3. Knead 2–3 min (by hand or mixer). Cover; rest 10 min.

2. Shape bites:

Roll dough into 1″ ropes; cut into 1″ pieces. Place on parchment-lined tray.

3. Boil:

Bring water and baking soda to boil. Drop 6–8 bites at a time; boil 30 seconds per side. Remove with slotted spoon; place back on tray.

4. Bake:

Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10–12 minutes until deep golden brown.

5. Finish:

Brush hot bites with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt or cinnamon-sugar.
