  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup almond butter (light caramel-style base)
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add apple slices, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cook for 6–8 minutes until tender.
  3. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla, cooking until lightly caramelized.
  4. In a small pan, whisk almond butter, coconut milk, and salt until smooth and warm.
  5. Spoon cooked apples into serving bowls.
  6. Drizzle the warm caramel-style sauce over apples.
  7. Top with chopped walnuts if desired.
  8. Serve warm.
