- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Coating:
- 3 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add applesauce, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla. Stir until dough forms.
- Roll dough into small bite-sized balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Mix cinnamon and coconut sugar in a bowl.
- Brush warm churro bites with melted coconut oil.
- Roll each bite in cinnamon sugar coating.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
