Ingredients

  • 🌾 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 🥄 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 🥛 ¾ cup warm milk
  • 🍚 ¼ cup sugar
  • 🧈 ¼ cup melted butter
  • 🥚 1 large egg
  • 🎃 ½ cup pumpkin purée
  • 🧂 ½ tsp salt
  • 🍂 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 🌰 ½ tsp nutmeg

For the Filling:

  • 🧈 ¼ cup softened butter
  • 🍚 ½ cup brown sugar
  • 🍂 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 🌰 ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

For the Glaze:

 

  • 🧀 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 🍬 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 🌿 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 🥛 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. 🥛 Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 🥣 Add pumpkin, butter, egg, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Knead into a soft dough.
  3. ⏳ Cover and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  4. 🍂 Roll dough into a rectangle, spread with butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. 🌀 Roll tightly, slice into rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. 🔥 Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  7. 🧀 Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
