The 3 core ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce (no sugar added)
  • ¾ cup rolled oats (certified gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Mix base:

In a bowl, combine applesauce, oats, cinnamon, and any optional add-ins. Stir until thick and sticky.

2. Chill & roll:

  1. Refrigerate mixture 15–20 minutes (eases rolling).
  2. Roll into 1″ balls (use a cookie scoop for uniformity).

3. Freeze:

  • Place bites on parchment-lined tray. Freeze at least 2 hours until firm.
  • Transfer to airtight container; store in freezer.

4. Serve:
