Ingredients

• 2½ cups all-purpose flour • 1 tsp baking powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 cup butter, softened • ¾ cup granulated sugar • 2 eggs • 2 tsp vanilla extract • Orange, black, and purple food coloring • Halloween sprinkles • Candy corn • Black decorating gel


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt
  4. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  5. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well
  6. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients
  7. Divide dough into fourths
  8. Color three portions with orange, black, and purple food coloring
  9. Roll each colored portion into 12-inch logs
  10. Place logs together and roll into spiral
  11. Cut into ¼ inch slices
  12. Place on baking sheets 2 inches apart
  13. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are set
  14. Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes
  15. Decorate with sprinkles, candy corn, and black gel
  16. Store in airtight container
