Ingredients

  • 🧂 1 tsp flaky sea salt

 

  • 🍫 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. 🥣 Mix the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, flour, and salt until a crumbly dough forms.
  3. 🍰 Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. 🍯 Spread the caramel sauce over the warm crust and sprinkle with chocolate chips, if using.
  5. 🥄 Crumble the remaining dough over the top.
  6. 🔥 Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
  7. ❄️ Cool completely, then sprinkle with flaky sea salt before slicing.
