  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 apple, peeled and finely diced
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Add the cranberries, strawberries, apple, maple syrup, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg to a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes, until the fruit softens and breaks down.
  4. Mash the mixture with a potato masher or blend briefly for a smoother texture.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and chia seeds, if using.
  6. Simmer for another 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Remove from the heat and let the jam cool completely.
  8. Transfer to clean jars and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
