Mini Caramel Apple Pies: Warm, Buttery, and Perfectly Bite-Sized

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (or homemade dough)
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

 

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Roll out pie crust and cut into small circles to fit muffin cups.
  3. Press dough into muffin tin to form mini crusts.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter and cook apples for 5–6 minutes.
  5. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and vanilla; cook until apples are tender.
  6. Spoon apple mixture into each mini crust.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the filling.
  8. Top with small dough shapes if desired and brush edges with egg wash.
  9. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.
