- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream butter until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until bottoms are lightly golden (tops should stay pale).
- Let cookies cool for 5 minutes.
- Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar, then again once fully cooled for a snowy coating.
