Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies: Buttery, Soft, and Melt-in-Your-Mouth Holiday Treats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

 

  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream butter until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and form a soft dough.
  6. Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until bottoms are lightly golden (tops should stay pale).
  8. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes.
  9. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar, then again once fully cooled for a snowy coating.
