Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
seasoning salt
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dry minced onion
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cups Colby Jack cheese
2.8 oz. real bacon bits (or crumbled bacon)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken on pan and sprinkle with seasoning salt. In a separate bowl, combine Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise, and dry onion. Mix well and generously spread onto the chicken. Top with mushrooms and cheese. Sprinkle with bacon bits. Bake Alice Springs Chicken for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked in the center and reads at 165°F (74°C).
