Ingredients

- 2 slices sourdough or sandwich bread
- 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced or mashed
- 2 slices mozzarella cheese (or 1/2 cup shredded)
- 2β3 slices tomato
- 1β2 tbsp butter (softened)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

- Optional: pinch of garlic powder or dried basil
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
- Layer mozzarella, tomato slices, avocado, salt, pepper, and optional basil.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook for 3β4 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 3β4 minutes, until cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve.
